St. Louis Hannibal short line railroad (1871-1961)

Post by cherry63376 »

St. Louis Hannibal short line railroad (1871-1961) encompassed Gilmore (East of Wentzville), Moscow Mills, Troy, Brisco, Silex, Whiteside, Bowling Green, Frankford, New London, Mo. roughley along highway 61 going North toward Hannibal. This is a rail bed I found North of Silex with a cut away and two bridges.

Thanks for this! I am a railroad geek and hadn't heard of it, but do most of my research south of the Missouri river.
