Melbourne Drainage Tunnels
RE: Melbourne Drainage Tunnels
The OG's of Australia. I know some CC members, on the internet at least.
Re: Melbourne Drainage Tunnels
I met a well-known CC member when she came into town with a mutual friend of mine and Sublunar's. Unlike Australia, STL doesn't have many interesting drains, but she was very interested in our unique brick sewers.
She was super cool and invited me to CC if/when I ever get the chance to go.

Re: Melbourne Drainage Tunnels
I wish that St Louis had non-combined drains. I would explore the shit out of them. Draining is my thing, almost more than buildings urbex.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Here's a good site for draining around Dallas.

That's a shame, cause buildings are the shiz. Tunnels are only cool if they get you into something cooler, or are themselves unique and not monotonous (which is rare).Nicotti wrote:Draining is my thing, almost more than buildings urbex.

Re: Melbourne Drainage Tunnels
I like water, the way it flows, flooding versus normal versus low water. I can spend hours looking at fluvial geomorphology. So tunnels themselves are cool to me.
