Ever jailbroken an iPhone?

Post by mindwaave »

If so, did you have one of the SEVENTY SIX THOUSAND devices that downloaded a custom sound package I published back in 2009?

Because damn, I never would have expected it to get that popular. I should have checked up on it earlier, or pushed-out an update.

The important question: do you get money from it?
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

“That’s not the point. The point is, who will stop me?”

Nope. The package just contained a manifest file and an audio file, but I could've included an installation script that would've sent some device stats to an advertiser or tracker in exchange for a penny or so in my account. Decided against it.
