I think Spanish Cave is one of those names like Onyx Cave, Spring Cave, Devil's Den/Slide/Hole/Home that gets repeated fairly often.
There is a Spanish Cave very clearly ladled on most USGS topo maps at this location: 36.800200, -93.342532
That's the one that I think most people are talking about.
