What's with the names on the floor?

More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

That's one of the only things the show left behind that I could find. The names were written on the floor for the episode as a memorial to fallen friends of Terminus. That room had a bunch of candles and stuff in it.

Did you get past the fences any?
And congrats on visiting more sites than any other year... or at least blogging about them. (After you get all 7 posted that is.)

Thanks, this place was definitely awesome. The room with the steam engines made armour look tiny in comparison. They had 8 of them all lined up next to each other and they had 20 foot flywheels. Fucking awesome.ropingk wrote:well as always a EXCELENT JOB awesome pics and great histoy cool looking place love to see it
Yes, the views above ground level were taken by hopping some fences. This was actually one of the most challenging places I've ever done because it was raining its ass off the whole time, right up until the last 30 minutes or so. Because of the rain, there was no-one else there most of the time and that allowed for some sneakery. I climbed up one section on either end to get a better view.Nicotti wrote:Did you get past the fences any?

And yeah I definitely noticed that post count. I've been trying to outdo myself each year both with quality and quantity and this year I think I finally accomplished both objectives, in the same year no less. Thanks to everyone I've explored with so far this year. Fuck yeah!

The Old Military Hospital
And thus the trip updates have come to an end..
While we were here, the owner showed up and started boarding up entrances. We ran past him when his back was turned. Good times.

I don't know if they had a crematory here but yeah that's a morgue. They did have one solitary type cell in one of the wards with bars over the windows. And there were some of what appeared to be holding cells in the basement, which I thought was odd.
