Visitors to this site may notice how much difference a few years makes. In 2008, this place was in good shape, this room in particular was spotless. And the electricity was still on. Not only was it still on, but it seemed like it had been left on for years, decades even. When we walked into this room for the first time, it was such a strange feeling. Lights were on and buzzing and yellowed from years of use. It was like we stepped into a time capsule. You could just feel how long the lights had been on and everything had just been sitting there. Such a cool feeling. One of my favorite exploring experiences.

I really wish I could have seen that place back before it decayed. Glad the stained glass is intact, tho.
