I spent last weekend in Colorado, including one full day driving up to Breckenridge then to Aspen via Independence pass. Man its sure much easier to breathe here in Missouri.
We are all just sloguns waiting to have our triggers pulled.

No, no Willard became a broken man when the Heers building was gutted and left to rot... as if the building were not just a metaphor for his soul, but actually contained it.
If not for Dee Dee to give him hope and something to live for, he'd probably be dead in a ditch, overdosed on drugs and alcohol while he was trying to medicate the pain.
Still, he is a broken half-man who will occasionally fall into long periods of silence while looking off into the distance at nothing. The ever present cloud of depression that weighs heavily on him has physically twisted him over the years so that he has become a monster of a man; bent over with a permanent hump, hair patchy, teeth missing, the rest bloody stumps from incessantly grinding them together, skin of a leper.
The man, if you can even call him that any more, cannot be expected to post on this forum in such a condition! In fact, it's doubtful he can even form coherent thoughts any more in that mind of his.
Dee is truly devoted to him for sticking with him for all these years, even though she could not stop his spiral into madness, her love at least slowed it and in some rare instances reversed it so that he would have a moment of clarity, almost normalness till some Heers reference beset the madness upon him again. Causing a rage that lays waste to every thing and one unfortunate enough to be in his vicinity. Even Dee has to flee during these times of unleashed pain. But when his fractured mind tires and he is left whimpering in a crater of destruction Dee returns to pick up the pieces of his mind and their life together.
Someone some where will write a great play or novel of their story, tis true love, though I fear it will also be a tragedy.

Okay, I'll buy that. What happened to Cobby?

Things seemed more lively with the old chap around. As for the others, I don't remember them being very active to begin with. But then I didn't join until 2007.
