Best Sunrise/Sunset pics
Re: Best Sunrise/Sunset pics
I know that feeling all to well. I am putting my photos into a Lightroom Library and am finding things that I totally forgot I even shot. I am at 27k pictures so far. Only few I have posted are recent due to this shit ass weather.

I cruised around it. It do every night. It's part of my hour long "unwind" drive I take after being trapped in the house all day long when hubs is at work. It was around midnight though. It was foggy as hell back there!!

Yeah it's a great area and the Page Bridge is fun to cross. Plus it gets super foggy in the valley sometimes, making for beautiful sunrises on the back side of the lake!
The first pic was shot in St. Charles by the Grafton Ferry, the second was in St. Charles off B (the sunken boat is the Ma Belle"), third was at Creve Coeur Lake, and the fourth was at Columbia Bottoms. All sunsets.

Gotcha. It's my new favorite place to shoot sunsets... (Creve Couer Lake). I really must check it out during the daytime, walk around it, explore more.

Another awesome place is the Lincoln Shields Recreational Area by the Clark Bridge in West Alton. The road washed out last year when the levee broke, but they have recently fixed it and opened it back up.
Also I found this place in Alton while cruising the maps the other day. It looks like an amazing place to watch sunsets! It's on my list.

There's another park down the road that I have been to that also has good sunsets.
