We explored "N" in 2009. My photos from back then are horrible..

Station N was the last holder standing only because none of the local demo companies wanted to leave equipment in the area just during lunch brake let alone over night.

Growing up here in StL in the '40s and onward, I've always wondered about them - I had not realized there were five layers.
They always seemed like things from an antediluvian world.

Yes the demo pics were shot Jan of 2007, The other was shot in 2001 and the B&W early 1900s

Has anyone been inside the pumping station? I was walking by today (didn't see a way in, but wasn't really looking that hard). Could see through some windows and it looks neat inside, but I think it's got a foot or two of water in the main room... and been emptied of its machinery (unless it is in the upper area closer to the hwy).

Which pump house, the one off Natural Bridge called Station N?
