Which would be easy enough for you, I'm sure, but what about people like me who have troubles getting over a 4ft chainlink fence?

Old people.... But I do think it would be pretty difficult to get on from the Illinois side. I might give it another shot on Monday since I'll be in the area anyway. If you don't hear from me again then I probably got hit by a train or abducted by Homeland Security.

Well, to be fair it was a 6 ft fence with the top bent over and not attached good so it wasn't very stable, i had more trouble with the dismount than getting on the thing. And I didn't have nearly as much trouble getting back over it on the way out.

Sub was there, he can vouch for my level of incompetantness when it comes to climbing, running, or any other physically demanding infilration type behavior.

Since you'll also be in E. Stl, we will be surprised if you do return.

Also, let me know when you plan on going. I may want to join if I can.

This goes for you too, Sub and Nic. Sub can climb, Nic, it is time to man up. This would be a fun outing methinks.

Exactly!

And I notice your title no longer says you're gonna be raped, so are we to assume that has happened?

I know how ya feel. I am a smoker so I am not so good at running, and I am really short so a six foot fence is a foot taller then me. The point is, we truck on and do these things anyway, although we aren't as competent as others.

Beware on the IL side of MacArthur, Terminal Railroad has (or at least they had) video cameras shooting down the train deck. And yes, the road deck is gone on the Illinois side.

Well they're probably who cut off the guns then.

While I'm sorry to see it go, I'm looking forward to going over there every few days to see the progress and get pics of the inside. I wonder if they'll pull the buried stuff out of the river bottom and the part out that is always underwater.

I was the guy you heard about last year on the bridge. I went when it was dark. I jumped that barbed wire fence then before I got to the river there was another fence with razor wire, I just fuckin ran up to it grabbed the pole and swung around like a japanese pole acerobat like literally I was hanging of the side of the bride for a moment cuz my body was swingin. It was fun. Then went to the end of the bridge. And I love trains so I climbed down the bridge structure and got down to the rail road tracks and I was fuckin around on there for like 30 minutes, by the way it is SUPER WINDY on the bridge over the river, I bought got blown off when I was on the railroad tracks screwin around, remember there are no fences on the railroad track part on that section of the bridge, then I climbed back up to the paved part.

Panic and the rest lets hit it, when you free to go?
