Since he actually worked there, Nicotti knows the cave better than I do, but if I remember right, the cave is pretty much vertical. Lots of stairs.

there is alot of steps but you don't climb them all at once, they stop and talk a lot. The natural entrance was a hole under ledge rock and a 100 ft drop straight to the bottom. The cave about 100' deep 60' wide and 250' long. And filled with more formation than you'd see on the marvel cave tour. The back of the cave is actually all clay fill, so the cave could have more open air rooms past that, they just haven't dug to them yet. If you go I recommend getting Chuck as your tour guide, he's my old caving buddy and gives a great tour.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.
