I was in Central a few months ago - ALL the windows are boarded up, so bring a flashlight.

wow their spending $800,000 on the demolition contracts. seems like it could be developed into apartments or something

That looks so awesome. It would be cool if Springfield had just a few of the amazing places that St Louis has abandoned.

Yeah there's lots of abandoned stuff in this city. I feel fortunate to be able to live here and to take part in documenting it.

I thought the old school referenced by SubLunar had been converted into apartments a couple of years ago? Not true?

Did they tear it down and build apartments or use the old school? I really love when they use the old instead of spit balling new stuff up.

Yeah thankfully they re-used the old school. Mount Pleasant was the name of it @ 4528 Nebraska ave.

I have quite a few apartments that are converted older buildings. They are really awesome.
