RE: climbing towers
I'm assuming you have been to the mills?
I went to the Mills about 2 weeks ago. I did read where the police and ambulances patrol the area, and was also told by one member there was no way into the mills, because it had been sealed shut. The larger mill was sealed off on the side as someone mentioned to me, but I was still able to get inside it with no trouble. I went with 2 other people and we did see an ambulance parked at the gas station, but we waited for them to leave, then headed over.
I was also told the homeless stay in the mill, and that may be the case, but we didnt see any trace of the homeless on our visit, but it doesnt mean they dont stay there, because i bet they do.
A few trucks were parked behind the mills, and we were skeptical of entering, but we voted on going in and ran into no trouble. All the trucks appeared to be from the same type of company (about the size of uhaul trucks, but dont recall seeing the name on the side of them..hmmm..).

Nope I've never explored the mills, I've always wanted to though. Got any pics or advice for exploring them? If you would can you pm directions for entering them?

More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

RE: climbing towers
Just sent you the information on what entrance we took into it, because there is more than 1 door to the place.
I do have another place i am wanting to check out, plus i plan to check out some caves around the area, so if you want i could take you to it if you want the next time i'm over there.
Sorry, no i dont have pictures of the place. As a few members on this site will tell you, i dont have a decent camera to take pictures.

White Rabbit almost fell down a hole? Thanks Alice.
I used to visit a lot of abandoned sites like that. Highschools, hospitals, factory, hotels, that kinda thing. It is fun, but I guess I've kinda "retired" to cave and other natural features. It's not as dangerous, toxic, or illegal. I mean worst you'll get cave poaching (provided you don't go harrassing any endangered bats) is tresspassing, but with mills and stuff it's a lot easier to get into BnE territory, even if you didn't actualy break anything to get in.
Loads of fun, but exercise all the same caution you use Cave hunting, and then some.

Fell down a hole, LOL. classic.
Caves are still plenty exciting. I prefer caves, tunnels, mines over other places. However, i always like to check out new things. You definately have quite the archive of caves.
