It's interesting how that 1st one didn't actually put the sofa in the truck bed, but instead has it across the back.

Yeah it looked like they were just moving it a few blocks away.

I found a few more today. Hint: Anyone who lives around Lambert Airport should try Kinloch. I got three or four couches in one spot.
Off Eva Rd. and James S. McDonnell
At carwash in Kinloch near a dumpster:

This is the final day and I do have more to post, but unfortunately (?) Springfield isn't quite as trashy as the St. Louis area where sofa's are just dumped under interstates and on back streets. Lol. I'm gonna spend a few hours later this morning trying to find a few more, but I'd say Mandi has this wrapped up really nicely.

Don't give up Slow! It's not over till it's over... which happens to be 11:59 tonight. So call in sick to work and go find some sofas!

Aww now I feel bad. It really didn't take me much effort at all to find any of the sofas, and they were all within 10 miles of my house. I really wanted to make a sculpture last weekend, but I was giving everyone else a chance to catch up. I would have probably been over 100 points by now if I had actually searched for sofas or did the challenges. All of these I found while passing through. The one by the railroad track has actually been there for years so I'm surprised no one else got that one.
It doesn't say much for the area I live in though, does it....
Slow, you should try route 66. Also, isn't there a ghost town just north of Springfield?

I'm really disappointed that there wasn't more participation in this competition this time around.
I wish you had done your sculpture Mandi, I thought it was a great challenge, I wished someone would have done it.
Maybe I'll run it as a separate competition for a week or two over winter time, cause I think people could come up with some really good art if they had the time and will.

I thought you had a pretty good turnout.
I would've participated but the feral couches are migratory and as a result have been leaving my area to head south for warmer climes. So, I was unable to capture any of the elusive bastards..
Out of curiosity, were there bonus points for having your way with said wild couches?

My way? No. But then again "my way" with a couch is just to lay on it, eat and watch tv, but that's just me.

Okay, here's my last ditch effort after spending 4 hours driving around this morning after I got off work. Lol. What an exciting life I lead.
