| I drove by on Friday, and around the big roller coaster it appears they're cutting trees getting ready to remove the roller coaster. If anybody wants to check it out you should hurry. |

Tulsa did a disservice when they outed Bells. Attendance was down at the fair this year, they have said it had nothing to do with Bells not being there. I disagree. We didn't go because of what Tulsa did to Bells and know quite a few others who also chose not to go for that reason.

So is Bell's on the outs? I don't keep up with day-to-day Tulsa news anymore since we get Pittsburg/Joplin TV instead of Tulsa channels like we used to. I'm attending the big gunshow at the adjacent fairgrounds this weekend and would like to check it out. Maybe I can get some pics unless I get into too many gun deals and forget about it.

Indeed you are totally correct Bucky. I attended the Gunshow yesterday and it has been paved over. One ride seemed to be loaded up on a semi-trailer and parked in the waterpark(?) area over on the east side.

| Bigspash which is the waterpark is owned by Murphey Brothers. They are the people who bring in all the crappy and might I add poorly maintained rides for the fair every year. |

What really torques me is the parking situation. Getting rid of Bell's addressed a portion of this I suppose, but there really is no excuse for booking a flea market and a horse show on the same weekend as the World's Largest Gunshow. Also Wannamacher's or the Expo Center needs to break down and open up a couple of more entrance points to the Show. It would cut down on the walking a lot. People who are walking to and from the Show ain't buying stuff IN the show.
As an aside, I think Tulsa is probably the best big city in the country.

| There is almost always a weekend flea market at the Fairgrounds. It is in one of the expo buildings that is getting torn down soon. |

| It is GONE. They torn all the rides down except for the Sky Ride which is like a ski lift. Everything else is now parking lot. |

| isnt it nice they named the parking lot after bells gee wizzz.....fyi big splash and murphy bros was owened by the same person (mr murphy) but him and hes wife had a divorce she got the water park...lol |
