Devil's Den in Oklahoma

Post by sckrap »

Have you ever heard of Devil's Den in Oklahoma? It is located near Tishomingo.

It was one of the neatest places I've ever visited, with the strangest rock formations, huge round rocks several stories high, just sitting on the ground and in groups. Rocks that were shaped like all kinds of manmade things.

Somebody bought the land, I think back in the 80s and closed it down, and won't let people in to see it. It's a crying shame as it is filled with all kinds of unusual formations and caves and things.

It used to be a real attraction to people in the area, who visited all the time, and folks still talk about it and are real ticked that the new owners closed it up.
