I wasn't counting invertebrates. I didn't consider froglegs exotic since I grew up eating those. Of course squid. Calamari. I also tried sea urchin. I can eat damn near anything, but that's the one thing that like to made me puke.

I recall a youtube video showing how to clean and prepare urchin and it made me want to try it next time I'm beachside. Perhaps I will refrain.

Urchin is disgusting. I had a bite once and it made me gag. Wish I could better describe the flavor, but I spat it out pretty damn quick.

As far as exotic meat goes, if I'd had $65 when I was in South Africa, I could have bought a lion steak. I didn't bring that much money, but it would have totally been worth it.

I tried durian in malaysia, shit smelled like a septic tank with a yeast infection. Tasted about like it smelled. Not a meat, but up there in the gross factor. A lion steak is pretty badass.

I suppose my most interesting meat eaten would be a guinea pig. Greasy dark meat.

Considering the smell of Durian, I always wonder how starving the person that figured out it's edible had to be.

Wild boar is one of the best meats I've ever eaten.

I agree 100%, especially when it slow cooked in a smoker. It really seemed more like candy than meat.
