Not this time. Besides I've never been able to crack that deer radar, those bastards always see me coming. Not that I've tried a lot but there's been a few times where I came close but the fuckers got spooked.

Fortunately for me, I've been out enough with deer hunters who actually kill deer and one time in particular, we had cut tenderloin out of a deer killed less than an hour prior and grilled it up. Best fucking steak ever.

The best way is to own property and feed them all summer. then set up a tree stand near the feeder. Then wait and get an easy kill. I see the same setup all the time when looking for caves.

Its kind of like cheating, but guaranteed delicious meat.
Btw I'm a douche. That is all...

We've got some land and my nephew puts out corn all through the early fall but hasn't gotten a deer from there yet. Got some nice ones on the game cam. I may help him out and put out a food plot next year.

I have a cold, it's hard to be stealthy when one is coughing, sneezing, and sniffling constantly. Also the reason I'm not UE this weekend.

Plus my step father usually get's a deer every year. The only problem with that though is they cut the whole thing up into sausage, ground chuck, and stew meat. I'm like, "Whole cuts, I want some whole cuts please! You can't grill stew meat!!"

I have a friend of mine saving me the hearts from his kills. I'm either going to get culinarily creative with them or make a really gruesome necklace which my wife is unlikely to appreciate.

Who needs to go in to the woods. This guy was snacking on the acorns along my work's parking lot one evening.

Grilled bacon-wrapped tenderloins and medium rare steaks slathered in garlic butter with a loaded baked potato is what keeps me going out at least a couple times a year. To hell with antlers and trophy hunting when the real prize is a year or so of succulent venison. Fuck.

I guess due to other hobbies I also enjoy to some degree the brain, hide and tendons; antlers are plus but not necessary.
