RE: The Oldest Calendar Thread
I think that's the page number of something like that.
RE: The Oldest Calendar Thread
I was just thinking about this thread and realized I didn't post the Gibson Catalog. I should have taken this but swiping stuff isn't my style..
I'm pretty sure you could add another digit onto any of those prices nowadays..

I really like the font in that catalog. Very space-age America.
Preservation over plunder.

RE: The Oldest Calendar Thread
Funeral notice from 1953 that I found in an abandoned house.
XRays that I found at the same place. They are from 1991, but the person was born in 1923 which means she was old, even back then.
Found this at another house. There's a "52" in the concrete. I'm guessing that's a date?
Yet another JC Penny Catalog at another abandoned house. This one is from 1980
Camp brochure from 1964.
Body tag from 1983 at the funeral home.
Also at the funeral home.
I know this isn't dated but how freaking long ago does it have to be to have minimum wage that low?

Re: The Oldest Calendar Thread
Apparently you are unconcerned with giving out the address of that mortuary now...
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

It's not at Lindbergh and Gravois. And when you google search the name it gets you no where.

Oooh, I'm sorry. Disqualified on the grounds that it's not a calendar. Better luck next time!Mandi Milenko wrote: I have the oldest date! Woo hoo! Lol.
