Damn that sucks. All of a sudden I don't feel so bad about having to share an office.

That does suck... I was in the same boat sorta... I never had to draw unemployment or anything because I was able to find another job before things got slow, but now I make less than what I would on unemployment. Luckily I still operate my own company and get enough side work to keep things rolling. Good luck to you, I would definitely fill out paperwork as soon as possible cause it was gonna take 2 weeks for me to get anything. To top it off the maximum unemployment benefit is only like $325 a week or something. Most people could probably live on that but I was stupid and got a huge mortgage before construction started to suck.

Danm that sucks bad. We have nobody sticking up for us. Pretty soon a masters degree will be needed to qualify for a temp position picking up trash and sticks.

I am not a ninja. (As Sub can attest to)

But apparently I am a mutant. And unlike the comic books were people with genetic abnormalities get cool powers like super strength and invisibility, in real life you get sucky side effects and problems.

17 years ago today, my great grandmother passed away. She was a wonderful person and I miss her every day.

I realize this makes me a total pig... but I've got one of those super-morningwood style boners right now, the kind that you could totally cut glass with... and not woman about to enjoy it. Ladies? Any takers? No? Le sigh... another reason why being single sucks...

Returning my 60D.

I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but the low light performance was terrible. My XTI blew it away in low light situations. I tested them both side by side on full auto in my room and the XTI would produce decent shots at a reasonable 400 ISO. The 60D would jump up to 3200 ISO in the exact same room on the tripod in the same spot. The image was garbage. I was very disappointed and spent hours testing it to confirm this problem.

But I gotta give credit to Creve Coeur Camera for taking the return and refunding me in full. I was a few days past their return policy restriction but they let me slide. I was prepared to rip them a new one but the guy gave me no problems.
