They do demonstrate how much things have improved. Some photos and film from the accident have clear white dots from the radiation. These have none large enough to notice. The radiation has to be significantly less now. It does give you some hope in the possibility of man surviving some nuclear war. People are living there again, animals and plants are living there. Some people with lethal doses even made it decades after the incident including the original Soviet filmer that flew right over the reactor. The accident was horrible, but it is amazing it wasn't a 100% death blow.

Though they do say the next explosion at Chernobyl will be far greater than the original. Hopefully they get the containment over it in time. If the wind is blowing the right way at the time, they say it could take out large chunks of Europe for decades.

My acquaintance opened her business today, and announced it by posting a picture of the key to her new building.

So, basically, anyone can now copy that key. On my computer screen, it's almost perfectly to scale. Would it be super creepy if I warned her about that?
