My lamp!

Some of you guys know I do really bizarre shit when I get bored. Well, I got pretty bored today. So, I turned an old auger from a feed mill (a big spirally thing that kept the hopper from clogging) into a lamp! It turned out awesome, but I spent the whole damn day working on it. It took me hours just to get all the rust off the thing. Then I welded it to a square steel plate for the base, attached the lamp fixture to the top, and painted it a nice flat black.

Yup. I'm a regular weirdo. I want all my furniture, from my couch to my bed to my lamps to be stuff that I've made.
