I think it'll be awhile after getting over the shock of making a periodic table completely out of html.

If I could use plain HTML and tables, I could do that in like a minute.

If I had to use CSS, I would rather take a good hard ass-whupping.

I spent 2 days debugging my final project to find out there was one space to many in my SQL statement! Damn VB.NET and its stupid spaces.

Well this may be a bit odd, but I have a Fortran IV book that my dad used in his computer classes at OSU Stilwater, OK back in the early 1970's....

I'm going to second damning VB.NET. Made a B, I'm not taking computer classes next year, sick of them now. And sick of hearing about video games and how fast some kids computer is because he built it and blah blah blah. No offense to anyone who's a gamer or computer builder on here, but these kids drove me crazy.

Yea, but at least I'm more interested in what I'm staring at now. It drove me crazy to sit inside for 2 and a half hours typing on a computer. I think I'm going to take some Healthcare class next year. Maybe then I could at least stand up and walk around.

My computer am the r0xx0r!

Or something.

Anyway, yeah. Building your own computer isn't really as hard as all that, and it tends to wind up being cheaper for a better system. You might try it sometime. Hell, if I can do it, you can.

Already did! :D I had a couple friends help me out on what to get and I now have a pretty decent one for less than $200. My old compaq just quit working one day, the motherboard, processor, memory card, and a week later while my friend was trying to send signals to my hard drive, they all pooped out on me. Being in computer classes I had to have a computer so they helped me build one.

And Best Buy is of no help especially if you're a blonde girl, they will feed you the biggest piece of bull you can imagine. Such as you can't buy just a motherboard, or just a processor....

Cut Best Buy a little slack.

What with the "training" they get, their schmoes in the computer department are lucky they're aware a motherboard exists. The tech guys aren't much better, except that they've been shown how to reinstall the OS of the day (which is basically inserting the disk and clicking Next until it's done).

They're crappy 'cause they're clueless.

If you're looking to build a computer, though, be it Windows or Linux or anything else, go to Springfield Technology, which is in the Tower shopping center at Sunshine and Glenstone. Freakin' awesome guys who know their stuff. Plus, they'll either help you find the parts you need at the best prices so you can assemble it yourself, or they'll do it for you so it's warranteed.
