No kidding, I guess now I know what to save my money for...
I wonder if that would come in handy though? Put some thin strong rope instead of ribbons and use it as a safety line? As long as you don't mind them ripping out and all the bleeding and such.

I guess those pills I took to slim down weren't a good idea. I think the worms are eating my intestines now and that's probably more painful than those piercings.

haha I was joking. There used to be pills to help women slim down so they could wear their corset's tigher and smaller. These pills had worms in them, I believe tapeworms, that were actually eating away at their intestines which in turn made them smaller in the waist. I doubt those are still made. lol

Yup, what women do to be skinny. And some had ribs removed to create and hourglass shape. Known as abdominoplasty. It's still used today, mostly if someone is short waisted or has only a small space between rib cage and hip bone that could end up rubbing against each other.

Also the ever classic corsets... often times women ended up with broken ribs, passing out and other medical problems.
