I saw a bunch of police cars in front of a mexican store on Division yesterday. Turns out they had a 10 block radius with police patrolling all over. Kinda scary.

he was long gone. at first they were actually checking abandoned houses and places with broken windows and locks.. but when it stretched into the 2-3 am time frame that was simply so if he does something later on and hurts someone the police can say .. we did everything we could. It was Overkill.
I listened on the scanner from the time he got away until about 2:30 am when i finally went to sleep
