Sorry, guys. That was pretty dick on my part.ivecomeasiam wrote:You're right! Because it makes no sense to talk about it in a thread that, in some way, pertains to politics. We'll just talk about it in any thread no matter how off-topic.

Whoa I seem to have missed the conversation train again, there's a castle in Springfield?!? Where? Sorry if someone already posted this but I can't seem to find it.
RE: Knights of Pythias
The one we are talking about is behind evangle and sits on the edge of the military base well its more of a weapon depot.

Actually it sits halfway surrounded by the National Guard... it's eastern boarder is up against the Evangle Football Field.

Yeah... after 9/11 the military was being real big dicks about letting the previous owners get to the castle. Untill the current road that goes to Pythian Street was created people used to have to go through the national guard parking lot behind the armory and around the back side of the castle in order to get in. Plus that fince wasn't that surrounds the armory wasn't there before 9/11. It was also nice of them to take away the front parking lot as well...

That "Dead or Alive" reminds me of what Tom Waits was talking about in his song "Big in Japan"
