I'm pretty unshockeable too, but he just looks awful. Have you seen the movie "Creature"? You can't tell that he is a man.

Nope, never seen it. Looks like IMDB gave it a whole 4.1 stars (outta 10)... Unfortunatly I don't think my local blockbuster has this movie on their shelves ;-)

I had to get it from Netflix. HBO just bought the rights and will be doing the follow-up. It's an excellent movie.

If you are a movie buff (like me) and like to see more than just blockbuster shite, it's well worth it. I think it's $20 a month for 3 dvd's at a time, no late fees. Which means you can have 3 out at a time only, then when you return one the next one is shipped from your queue which usually takes a day.

I am definatly a movie buff, I own about 350 DVDs and countless VHS tapes. The blockbuster thing was a gag more than anything... I stopped going there a few years ago due to the fact that they edit some movies in order to fit their "Family Values" crap. I've done NetFlix 4-5 times in the last 5 years, just never seem to have the time to make things worth it.

OK, I can't resist...top 10 movies, I know this is always difficult, but try to keep it under 20. Go....

No particular order:
Shawshank Redemption
To Kill A Mockingbird
Lord of the Rings (its all one movie anyway)
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The Maltese Falcon
The Crow (I know...)
Y tu mamá también
Shichinin no samurai
Clockwork Orange (even though its an incomplete story)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Star Wars IV-VI

I'm a fan of GREAT acting, and strong storyline as opposed to special effects and big names. There are several others I can think of, But in the movie somewhere I felt like the actor wasn't protraying their character to their fullest. More commonly though a great movie or good story will be destroyed by a single bad plot decision or uncharacteristic line or action...

Now my turn, and we have some of the same. 8)

Hedwig & the Angry Inch
Clockwork Orange
Shawshank Redemption
Lolita (old & new version)
Amelie
Memento
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Man Bites Dog
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Krzysztok Kieslowski's three colors: Blue, White, and Red
La Dolce Vita
Blue Velvet (anything Lynch)
Safe
One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

I could keep going, but that is enough for now.

I have to disagree with you on this one, that movie was so bloody boring I walked out.
