This is awesome:

I always wanted to try this. Too afraid of getting a turtle, though.

Oh... Whoops. I didn't know you had to register. But I read a lot of news sites, so I probably registered a long time ago.

Anyway, noodling is when you go to a lake or a river, and you wade out in it. Then you get down and feel around in the mud on the bottom looking for holes catfish lay in. Then, you reach in and stick your hand in their mouths and pull them out that way.

No, I am not making that up. I've seen people on TV do it. It's freaking amazing.

There are some parts that call it "juggin" and I have a friend who is big into it he lives on the Maremec river and does it all the time in the summer, I went with him last year and he hooked on to a 30 pound cat that took over a hour to get to the bank, he was all scratched up and bloody (i mean my friend) he asked if I wanted to try and I am thinking sure i want to get all cut up and fight with a catfish on his home ground so I passed It is legal and it looks real exciting but I think I will just stick to a line and a pole

Noodling looks like a rad time 'til you watch someone get pulled under and totally get their ass kicked by a fish.

You know what's funny, on the NPR radio programe "What do you Know?" They were in Missouri (can't remember the town now) but they had some guy there with them and asking him all about Noodling. Apperently it's only legal in 3 streams and whats more, the concervation department thinks its not good for the fish! I think it'd be more dangerous for the fisherman then the fish. Oh well.

Yeah, they're just testing it out in a few rivers right now to see what kind of impact it has. They're just worried it might adversely affect the catfish population (at least that's what they say). But, really, there ain't NEARLY enough noodlers to affect the catfish population.

LOL I think the catfish could effect the Noodler population however! It sounds hard as hell to do and... it involves getting down and dirty... Hell Yeah!

That is SO the anthem of my life. If I didn't know any better...I'd figure they wrote that specifically about me.
