Right, ropingk already said what the mileage of his 4 cylinder s10 got, it wasn't impressive. As far as insurance, you can just call and ask. I doubt it would be any higher unless the 6 cylinder is in a sports coupe and the 4 cylinder is in a sedan.

He was, however, full of shit in regards to jeeps being inherently more expensive than something like an s10, at least as far as all the points I was able to address were concerned.

PT cruser with a 2.4=23mpg
ford ranger with a 4 banger 21 mpg
Pontiac Gran Am v6 3.4=28/30 and it has 200,000
KIA mini Van v6 and its big and heave=28mpg
Dodge Intrepid (non sideways motor =32 all day long
Pontiac Montana Mini vav 3/4 V6 fully loaded 28mpg
YEs there is a pattern and yes I do own these and drive these

I did own a Honda CRX it got 45 but it nwas a 1.1 4 banger with no air and no get up and go plus it was a 2 seater
Sub is rtight its all what you like and as far as how hard they are to work on that really denends on the person working on them and Im not doughting you but a tranny brand new from Japan for $500 ????????????

IM pretty sure my next car will be the Chevy SOnic hatch back I drive over 1000miles a week so MPG really matters i knwo thety are kind of expensive for a small car but they are kind of cool
what Id really like is the VW Jetta with the clean burn TDI desiel they get 45/50

Thanks! The body is in really good condition for a 96! There's only a few tiny rust spots, a small dent on the tailgate, and the back bumper is smashed down a little. One problem I have with it is that the seat is not designed to move up far enough for my short ass to drive it so I'm gonna have to get a pillow. Lol. I'm sure we will find a small mechanical issue or two as we drive it but we got it home from past Mascoutah IL with no issues.

Well fro a Chevy Guy good job is it the 2.2 4 cyl??? or the 4.3 V6???
have your hubby change the tranny fluid and filter (Im guessing its a auto) that is the weakest part of that truck the parts are about $30 and the Tranny Fluid is another $35-445 Or so but its way worth it

It's a 4cyl. We think it might be leaking a little bit of transmission fluid but it's nothing he can't fix. For $1,300 I'm definitely expecting a suprise of some sort. We bought it from a cool old dude though.
