editing posts

I wouldn't mind being able to edit posts indefinitely. Currently there's a 24 hour limit on posts.

Sometimes a day later, I want to edit for clarity/information.

Anyone else?

Yes, it is my fault. When our Dogpatch owner friend first started posting about cleaning up the place, I thought it would be a great story for the paper so I e-mailed them about it and told them where to get started... needless to say he deleted all of his posts up to that point. To prevent this from happening again, White Rabbit made it to where you can't edit your posts after 24 hours.

I might be open to making it a little longer than 24 hours, but I don't want to make it indefinite.

The reason for that is that we've had a couple people get upset about things in the past and decide to go through and edit out their entire post history. I don't really want everyone to be able to do that.

That said, I'm really good about editing/deleting a post or thread if someone needs to and lets me know, particularly if it's because something they said could cause them (or a location) problems.
