Pretty sure I fixed the issue with the thumbnails looking all gray and crappy. They should look more natural now. It might make attaching pictures take little bit longer, but I think it's worth it. What's the point of having thumbnails if you can't even tell what you're looking at, right?
Also, this will only affect new thumbnails.

awww, the thumbnails of my new car are gonna stay crappy?
Oh well, with everything else you do above and beyond the call of duty, I guess I'll be okay with it.

Well, if it's been less than 24 hours, you can edit the post and it should give you an option to upload a new version of each picture on the edit screen. That should create a new thumbnail, too.
Otherwise, no, you're stuck with the crappy ones

Oh, it's not retroactive? That blows. Then again, I probably won't be scouring that many older threads. Thanks for the fix!

Nope. Every time you upload a picture, a PHP script resizes and resamples each picture into a thumbnail and then saves it. The only way to make the old crappy thumbnails good would be to edit each post and re-upload every picture so it generates a new thumbnail. Personally, I'm not interested in going through that much effort.Sertile wrote:Oh, it's not retroactive?

Well, I know a few of mine got messed up, but I don't really care enough to do anything about it either. Besides, they look fine at full size, right?

Yup. The upload script just posts those as they are.Sertile wrote:Besides, they look fine at full size, right?
