Heads up: Site will be down a little while

Just wanted to let you guys know that the site, or the forum at least, will experience a little downtime, probably sometime this week.

Powweb, our site host, got bought out by another company, and they're currently moving all their existing customers to a different hosting platform. All sites are going to get moved temporarily to their new platform for adjustment (since a lot of scripts will have to be reconfigured). When everything is working properly, the move will be made permanent. Consequently, anything that gets posted on the forum, or blog, or gallery, on our original site, during that temporary move will not be getting posted on the temporary site and will not show up after we make the move perment.

So, to eliminate that problem, I'm just going to disable the entire site (or at least the forum) when I start migrating the site. The downtime could be as short as an hour or as long as a few days. It all depends on how smoothly thing go.

But yeah, heads up on that.

P.S. The migration issues are also going to cause some fluke problems like the one we experienced last night with the login. So, we all have that to look forward to for the time being as well.

Okay... I migrated the site today and it's done. Amazingly, there doesn't seem to be any problems.

However, if you guys notice anything not working right on the forum, gallery, or blog, let me know. Because those are the three things that would be broke from the migration.

Yeah, this would be our first migration-related problem. I am currently bashing my brains out trying to figure out what's causing it.

Okay, it's fixed. Only took me 2 1/2 hours to iron it out, too. Wheeeee.

I'm not sure if it's related to the upgrade or if it's due to my connection being screwy today, but page loading's being a little fickle. It won't load the first time I click the link, then if I click it again once it's been trying for a second, it decides to go through. Might just be my connection being a pain in the butt, though.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was related to the migration, although I haven't had that happen yet. They're doing so much work to the servers and things around here that stuff is going up and down like crazy.
