Joliet IL Houses along I-55
Just north of the 55/80 exchange, on the East side of the highway there are some recently abandoned (but boarded up) homes, maybe about 2008ish? Google maps shows a timeline. I could find a reference on one site that said the town might build something like a community center, but nothing so far. Has anyone explored the homes or knows what's going on? Looks like they aren't that secure and I'm not from there, was just passing through and noticed them.
