I came across a pretty sweet UE today some kids did up north. They call it the "Helix Drain," and it looks pretty ancient. I just thought I'd share it with you all. They have their own site, too, on the Urban Exploration Ring. I'd LOVE to be able to explore this place first-hand. Enjoy!

It is actually calle dthe 'triple helix' drain because it has three staircases, with two of the three reaching the surface.
The first staircase dead ends into brick wall.

I did this drain about a week ago

It's long.. 2.5m RCP for ages!
.. then some smaller shape changes.

Phalon creek is alot better though... and the labrynth 10 times better

The Twin Cities have LOTS of great sites...and we're still discovering more! It's unbelievable what soft sandstone under a city can do for exploring.

Plug away mate, that's how I got back into all this was through Max. I wish he'd update or post more pictures though because I'm sure there's more to view since words don't always do justice.
