Abandoned highway

So anymore I only post pictures of abandoned stuff if it is something out of the ordinary. Well I found a 5 mile abandoned stretch of highway. They built it but could not finish it due to a lawsuit by some tree huggers over a wetland they wanted to fill in.

Yes it is. How did you know? I think it is actuly supposed to be part of the hwy. 127 Winooski Vally Parkway.

I thought it looked familiar. I only know it from the pictures, as I've never been to Vermont. I've never been northeast of Pittsburgh.

There's an abandoned stretch of I-44 northeast of Tulsa. I may be able to get some pics in the near future.
