Cadillac Ranch, Bug Ranch

Post by Split »

I stopped by these 2 places on my way to Colorado so I thought i'd share them with ya. I found out the current Cadillac Ranch is not the original location. They had to move the cars 2 miles west because the city of Amarillo was closing in on them. :( Still intresting.

Been to the Cadillac Ranch (in fact you might find my name on one of the cars), missed the Bug Ranch.

I think in order to have a hillbilly ranch, you have to half bury hillbillies in your yard. I know some I can recommend.

That's a cool idea. And I thought my "camera on a string" was cool.

That kite rig is amazing, I want one. How cool would that be, can't be all that complicated if you checked out the schematics on his site.I wouldn't send my new camera up but maybe a crappy one...

I am gonna try the directions from this link this week and see how it goes...just have to get over making the film advance
I have tons of 35mm cameras and even a few digitals lying around,I'll see what I can do, kinda my own version of a Mythbusters experience.
