I've been to Area 51.

Well, not actually to it, but as close as you can get to it. A few years back, I drove out to Rachel and drove up to the border. That place is seriously creepy. That have these motion sensors buried in the (long) dirt road that leads up to the border, so the guards are sitting there in their vehicles by the time you get there.

I even got a border guard to scream at me because I kept heckling him. :)

I am probly wrong but I would be afraid that if I ever did actually get inside and back out that they would probaly come and find me and it probaly would not be pretty but it would still be cool to get in there

If anyone is interested, here's some information on getting a job with one of the civillian contractor companies that work within Area 51:

There is an unnamed terminal at the Las Vegas airport that shuttle workers to and from the base every day. See? You guys could totally work there! Let us know how it goes.

My grandpa used to work just on the otherside of the mountain from Area 51. He won't say much more to me about it.

He worked for Bechtel Nevada at their National Test Site doing weapons testing.

This sounds like a good story... Nothing says fun like heckling armed guards :)
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

If you feel like wading through all the BS over at Tool's(the band) website, there's plenty of information and pictures about the best way to see the base. If I remember right they had a couple of places that weren't owned by the government scouted out.

You may have been heckling my best friend Brian. He works out there, stationed in Vegas and flies to Gorman every morning on a UH60.

Shitty thing is, he can't tell me anything about being out there other than he works there and he is heavily armed and crazy enough to open up on someone if need be.

Here's a pic of him and some "friends" in Iraq a while back.
