This is the same place as Jessgcmo's pictures. The place was built as a TB Sanatorium and then after TB went away it became a asylum for mental children until one stormy night the bridge to the place washed out and the place was closed. This place was big and was made up of 12? diffrent buildings. The old rail tunnel we had to walk through is the 3rd oldest rail tunnel still in use and was rebuilt in 1903.
The picture of the door with all the foot prints on it has a odd story. Junior and I were sneaking down the main hallway on the 4th floor because on the lower floors we had heard noises from the upper floors and thought that there was someone up there. Anyways we were sneaking along and and Jessgcmo slid off into a side room to look around and about 12 feet in front of me a door slammed shut. Junior peeked out the door to my right with a shocked look on his face and I gave him the hand signal for him to freeze and that I could see something as I could see the door and I had seen it slam shut. We stood there silently and as the door slowly started to open up I ran forward and kicked the door in fist rasied hell bent for a fight. Junior ran in behind me and there was no one in the room. A window was open and the wind was causing the door to slam shut everytime the door drifted open. On the door there were a bunch of other foot prints were other people had had the same experiance.

Ok, back on to subject, where is this place at? Is it close to springfield? I would love to take a trip to it sometime if it is fairly close.
