oh ive read this. i cant remeber if it was here or somewhere else, but the entire story is bullshit, it was made up. she didnt ride through on a motorcycle, she just got a civilian tour through the area, anyone can.

After doing a little more research, it does turn out that the story about the Motorcycle ride through the city is BS, but the pics are still pretty wild to check out. Here's more info:

Someone had a copy of the first site that was put up. It had a lot more pictures but most of them were from some place other then Chernobyl and just made to look like it. Still kind of cool.

While the story is untrue (this has been floating around a while now), she DOES have some rather interesting other articles that do seem to be actually written by her about some digs they've done. Whether or not they're true, they do have some pretty cool pics.

Well, technically, yes, some of the pictures are "fake" in that they were arranged for the purpose. I remember somewhere a mention by the guide who had taken her on the tour about her moving the dolls around and such, for the picture with the crib and all, to make it seem more dramatic than it really is.
