Abandoned cabin near eagle.

Post by piplnr65656 »

While blowing down a trail trying to find this wierd cult compound that I had heard about I noticed what I thought was a old mine from the trail but on closer inspection I found it was a old cabin in very good shape. The bad thing was that we found 4 dead horses within 200 feet of the place and the walls had what looked like dried blood all over on them.

Any ideas on how the horses died?
Pain is nothing more than fear leaving your body.

No idea. They all seemed to have been dead for about the same amount of time. They had the desert mummification look to them. Jessgcmo took some good pics of the place and I ran out of film early. I will see if he can find his pictures as the place was very erie.

I always think it is amazing how some people live. In 1979 we went climbing around Mt. Juda Ar, and our car battery went dead. We thought we saw a cabin back in the woods so we went to get some help but they had no phone, electricty, or car. They did however take one of my buddies to the next holler over by horseback. Backwards but salt of the earth.
