That's only half of it. If you are a gopher or security for the first time you pay $15. You get it back at the end of Visioncon however. We only keep the $15 if they didn't work at least 6 hours. This is to keep people from "volunteering" and not doing anything (basically getting in for free). People who have volunteered before don't have to pay the $15.

Since I've been helping with Visioncon, we've never had to keep the $15 (as far as I know).
