Forest fire in arkansas?

I just noticed it's real smokey outside here in springfield and they just said on the radio that there is a fire in arkansas and thats what the smoke is from.

Smoke is from controlled burn in Greene County!

Huh? The smoke can be seen in greene county. It's coming fron boone and marion counties.

i talked to a springfield firefighter who said it was smoke from a controlled debris burn in arkansas. i thought that seemed a long way for smoke to travel without dissipating but i guess that's why i'm not a fireman.

The smoke was real pleasant while we were camping this weekend... it gave the whole place a nice "scorched earth" feeling.

It was so thick gabe went out looking to see what was on fire... guess he would have had to drive a ways.

Yea he would've been gona awhile. Rachel and I came out sat. night, but it looked like you were asleep. Viper said you guys were sittin down in the woods.
