I live in Greenbrier and the water table in most places is deep, my well is 96 feet deep and has water upto the 36 foot mark. They didn't hit water till around 60 feet.

As for the earlier discussion of masks, I would recommend a N95 or N100 respirator (mask) at the minimum. Also, if possible, rubber boots, gloves, and a coverall or (even better) a Tyvex Level B suit, just to be safe.
