Castle for sale

Post by slow_walker »

I hope this hasn't been posted before, I did a search first but didn't find anything.

Anyway, looks like there's a "castle" for sale in Winslow. If you really want to call it a castle. Actually looks pretty cheesy and the interior rooms are outrageously small - but the views are nice and the waterfall is cool.

Those look like Pella windows on that castle. I'm sorry. Castles just do NOT have Pella windows. Not that there is anything wrong with Pella windows.

Looks more like a White Castle...

The one in Winslow looks more like a "compound" rather than a castle. Or maybe, "fort". You can almost see the description:
"Nestled next to a babbling creek, this secluded hideaway is perfect for you and 20 of your closest like-minded friends. Plenty of space inside for the creation of the chapel and armoury. Extra reinforced outside walls to keep out the most determined government officails. Note the excellent kill zone spacing that co-exist with the surrounding nature. This could also be converted to a minefield with a little work. The walkway bridge can be easily rigged with explosives. Air conditioned sniper rooms also found on the top floor. Just because you're waiting for the end of civilization doesn't mean you have to give up your personal comfort."
"Anyone else smell that?"

You seem to be in a good mood today TMC

I almost drove out there today to try and get a look at it, but decided I'll save it for a day on the bike so I can enjoy the roads out there.

Good mood? Nah, the little pills are working great today! I can barely hear the voices...
Out in that area are some very interesting homes people build. There are no regulations or zoning ordinances. I've been on calls to strangely designed homes, including some that are underground. People move out there to "get away from everyone" and "to be left alone".
