Humming Bird Mountain
Hi,
I am new here, my name is K. and my hubby is C. and we live in Arkansas, I love your page....I have explored some of the places on your site, wanted to let you all know about a place called Humming Bird mountain near Dennard Arkansas, does anyone have info on this it is an abandoned zoo, I would like to know more about it, I have some pics.

Hey, I just really really dig this site, I just love going to abandoned sites, it is so exciting..I can't actually put it into words how much I love to do it. Oh well glad to be here.

The one sign appears to say Arkansas Black Bear, not much of a cage for a bear but...the cages are really cool and there are tons of them, with stone around the bottom and spring fed little concrete ponds in them. Maybe monkeys were in the cages that had the rings? strange. I would love to know the history on the place, it must have been wonderful at one time. I have had no luck on finding anything much about it unfortunately.

The second one below is of a point type deal made to walk out I guess and look down below into the bear? cage, it was really high above them. Last pic maybe restaurant, not sure.
