I collect old beer cans (very old ones from the 30s and 40s). Specifically they are cans that have a cone top (shaped similar to a bottle) and punch tops (had to use a church key to open). I dig up these cans and restore them in an acid solution. Right now I have about 500 flat tops (punch tops) and ninety or so cone tops. Most are in some state of rust but show most of the label and color.
I am looking for sites in and around North Arkansas (preferably in Marion or Baxter counties but beggars cant be choosers) where old cans were dumped or buried. 30s and 40s sites would be preferred but 50s-60s would also be welcome. Bar dumps (yeah I know a lot of this area was dry for a very long time), farm dumps, old camp grounds, etc are what I am looking for.
