I stumbled across that myself! It reminds me a lot of dewatering a flooded mine. Fortunately, dewatering requirements are a lot less in New Mexico than in Arkansas.

(Incidentally, I've inadvertently shifted my hobby from entirely exploring old stuff to consulting at a place I posted a photo of while it was shut down, with exploring old stuff on the side)

You bet. There's a few sites I really need to get to, wouldn't mind filing claims on them and trying to operate. I also helped sell part of a big lot of vintage mining equipment a couple weeks ago; I should post some photos.
