I faintly remember visiting this park when I was in my early teens (mid 70's).
I remember some kind of water boats and that wild mouse roller coaster or whatever it was. You started out going up inside a fake tree and then the coaster car circled the outside of fake tree. My Dad said it was a Dogpatch alright,,,meaning dog crap.
I stopped by last year while riding my motorcycle on the
Trans-Am Trail. too many no trespassing signs although people had parked by the old sign and I could hear them down in the park. I then found the upper parking area but I was running a bit behind schedule with ominous clouds on the horizon. Shot these crappy photos from the road.
