Railroad tunnel near New Haven

Post by Hornet »

I visited an abandoned RR tunnel near New Haven. If anyone is interested it is super easy to find. Go east on hwy 100 out of New Haven when you get to hwy 185 go past it a very short distance and turn left on Dundee Rd. Go to the end of Dundee Rd it dead ends at the tracks from there you can see the tunnel. There is also a neat bridge you walk across to get to the tunnel

I'll actually be in New Haven this weekend to celebrate someone's 21st birthday at the Pinckney Bend Distillery. I'd known there was an old tunnel in the area, but didn't have any specifics. Thanks for sharing, and welcome to the forum!
