RE: Caboose
I have never seen that there. I've been through there quite a bit too. I might venture that way one of these days to check out the old poor folks home and the cave/quarry. Now there is 3 things I can do up there.
Re: Caboose
Its been there as long as I can remember... but I probably would not know about it either if my parents hadnt taken me there when I was younger

Golden city has a caboose also, but i have never stopped and seen if there was a way into it. I doubt there is.

Not anymore, I got it sewed back up after the "Lego incident". I still haven't forgiven you.Nicotti wrote:SubLunar wrote:You should see his lego asshole.

RE: Caboose
Your right. Independence, Ks, used to have an airplane in the park along with some other neat things, but overtime they got vandalized and they quit taking care of them, and finally took them out.construct_this wrote:Seems like every old town had a caboose somewhere until the mid 90's. Usually at a park or school... Its too bad vandals took their toll on ours at my elementary school.
Re: Caboose
Found one at a campground over the weekend.

From this site....Nicotti wrote:Found one at a campground over the weekend.
For railroad buffs, a red caboose with a whirlpool tub is available for sleeping accommodations.
Re: Caboose
the whirlpool must be inside, cause looked like a regular caboose from the outside... a regular caboose with fresh paint and spiffy curtains in the windows that is.
Edit: Holy shit!! It's $131.50 / Night to stay in that caboose!

Re: Caboose
I know this post is a bit old, but I was on a dirt road by fort wood yesterday and came across a caboose near a river...it looked like crazy survivalists living there but i could probably get the location if you want me to look into it
